Responsibilities :

  • Provide ERM/ORM advisory support to Front Office teams, ensuring timely identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation of risks.
  • Partner with Front Office stakeholders to integrate risk management into daily operations, transactions, new initiatives, and business growth activities.
  • Support enterprise and operational risk assessments, including issue management, incident investigations, and control enhancements in line with regulatory and internal governance standards.
  • Act as a key liaison between Front Office and Middle Office risk functions to ensure consistent risk interpretation, communication, and implementation.
  • Prepare materials for the Risk Management Committee (RMC), and support escalation processes, risk reporting, and follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of ERM/ORM frameworks, policies, processes, and reporting.
  • Proactively identify emerging risks and control gaps, and recommend practical, solutions-oriented improvements.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties, including IT-related tasks, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and/or Operational Risk Management (ORM).
  • Experience supporting Front Office, trading, or revenue-generating functions will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, risk and control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to balance commercial objectives with effective risk management and governance practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and provide practical recommendations.
  • Flexible and responsive, with the ability to support time-sensitive business activities outside standard working hours when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with ERM and/or ORM frameworks, with knowledge of internal control concepts considered an advantage.
