Responsibilities
- Drive the development and optimization of advanced RFSOI (Radio Frequency Silicon-on-Insulator) devices to meet performance, scaling, reliability, and manufacturability targets.
- Design device PCells (Parameterized Cells), develop test structures, and support tape-out activities.
- Perform TCAD process and device simulations, calibration, and optimization to enhance device performance and reliability.
- Conduct device characterization and electrical analysis using DC-IV bench testing and other measurement techniques.
- Collaborate closely with the Modeling and PDK (Process Design Kit) teams to support design enablement, model validation, and PCell improvements.
- Analyze experimental data and simulation results to identify optimization opportunities and resolve device-related challenges.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support technology development, process integration, and product implementation.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, device characteristics, and device tuning methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in TCAD process and device simulation, calibration, and device optimization.
- Experience working with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics for layout creation, DRC, and LVS verification.
- Experience with advanced RFSOI CMOS technologies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with semiconductor device characterization and DC-IV electrical measurements.
