Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate trade data through timely system updates, reconciliations, and trade actualisation based on shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with counterparties and internal stakeholders on pricing confirmations, payments, and inventory management activities.
- Review accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions to support accurate and timely settlements.
- Support finance activities related to cash management and trade settlements.
- Prepare and analyze reports on journal entry discrepancies, outstanding charges, aged items, and open counterparty positions.
- Maintain physical and electronic documentation to support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring adherence to established procedures and controls.
- Identify operational risks and contribute to process and system improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of trading, risk management, accounting, or trade financing processes.
- Sound understanding of international commodity trading practices, including INCOTERMS and trade finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with experience handling transactional data and reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
