Responsibilities: • Dispense medications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, label, and pre-pack medications for patient and operational requirements.
• Support medication reconciliation activities, including prescription processing and documentation.
• Process inpatient medication and supply requests in a timely manner.
• Perform billing and related administrative functions.
• Provide professional, courteous, and responsive customer service to patients and customers.
• Maintain proper stock organization using inventory management principles such as FIFO.
• Ensure medications are stored under appropriate conditions and in compliance with operational standards.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and stock checks according to standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to medication safety standards and pharmacy best practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancement projects.
Requirements: • Possess a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC), Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, or a pharmacy degree not recognized for pharmacist registration.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in achieving departmental objectives.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required.
• Commitment to accuracy, patient safety, and service excellence.
