Lead regional business development initiatives and drive growth in contract logistics through strategic sales leadership and innovative warehousing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities with a primary focus on Contract Logistics and warehousing solutions.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Singapore and Malaysia.
- Lead and manage regional sales teams across Southeast Asia and Australia to achieve revenue, profitability, and business growth targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new accounts and expand market presence.
- Engage prospective clients to understand business requirements and propose tailored supply chain and warehousing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with logistics innovation and operations teams during customer onboarding and implementation phases.
- Monitor, analyze, and present sales performance updates to management.
- Drive account growth through cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing customer portfolios.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a strong focus on Contract Logistics and warehousing services.
- Proven track record in new business development and sales account acquisition.
- Experience managing large-scale, long-term contracts and regional or global customer accounts.
- Knowledge of supply chain management systems such as FIS, WMS, and TMS.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics operations, including air freight, ocean freight, transportation, and warehousing.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience leading and motivating sales teams to achieve business targets and key performance indicators.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer network within Southeast Asia and Australia is an added advantage.
- Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression.
