Responsibilities:
- Dispense and pack prescriptions accurately according to established guidelines.
- Counsel patients on medication use and escalate potential drug-related issues to pharmacists or prescribers.
- Provide professional customer service and address patient feedback appropriately.
- Replenish medication, consumables, and patient information stocks to support daily operations.
- Monitor inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates, and product conditions.
- Conduct routine checks on pharmacy, IT, and automation equipment and report malfunctions.
- Participate in medication repackaging activities and perform quality control checks.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping standards within the pharmacy and storage areas.
- Support the onboarding, orientation, and training of new employees.
- Safeguard pharmacy inventory, premises, and confidential information in compliance with security procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and recommend workflow improvements.
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Certified Pharmacy Technician qualification, or equivalent pharmacy-related qualification.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication dispensing procedures, and inventory management.
- Ability to identify and escalate medication-related concerns appropriately.
- Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting is an added advantage.
