Job Summary:
Drive key account growth and new business opportunities through strategic sales, customer engagement, and solution-based selling.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage key accounts (90%) while supporting new business development initiatives (10%).
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on sales performance, customer visits, pipeline activity, and competitor insights.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to gather customer feedback and support product enhancements.
  • Identify, analyse, and develop a strategic pipeline of profitable business opportunities.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and business cases for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects and customer activities using CRM and pipeline tracking tools.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and KPI performance (e.g., sales growth, gross margin, new customers).
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets while continuously improving performance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Technical, Sales teams) to develop and execute commercial strategies.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities across multiple channels, including digital, mobile, and traditional platforms.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Promote and sell a full range of products and solutions using cross-selling and value-selling techniques.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare and submit business tenders and proposals for new opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify and communicate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain professional networks through events, conferences, and social platforms.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales-focused role with strong knowledge of sales strategies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Strong track record in acquiring new business and managing sales pipelines.
  • Experience in selling multi-product or complex solutions.
  • Ability to handle technical aspects within a sales environment.
  • Familiarity with contract terms and conditions within a sales context.
  • Experience in campaign management is required.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management skills across different business levels.
  • Proven experience managing and converting new business opportunities.
  • Experience in engineering and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Track record of securing new business within technical or engineering-related industries.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of technical product applications across industry sectors is an added advantage.
