Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and review of mechanical engineering works from concept development through detailed design stages.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Perform engineering analysis and provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and overall project execution.
- Coordinate and liaise with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
- Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and project-related documentation.
- Oversee design management and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and external consultants.
- Mentor, guide, and support engineers and designers in their professional development.
- Monitor project progress to ensure completion within established schedules and budgets.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in both mechanical engineering design and construction/project management.
- Strong knowledge of local engineering codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis and the ability to provide technical advice and solutions.
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in engineering analysis software, BIM software, CFD simulation tools, and other mechanical/fire engineering applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams effectively.
