Responsibilities
- Perform installation, preventive maintenance, relocation, and repair of laboratory and analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product performance issues through phone, email, and onsite support.
- Provide customers with technical guidance and basic operational training.
- Support sales activities through customer visits, site inspections, and project coordination.
- Respond to customer technical inquiries and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including installation guides, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting manuals, and SOPs.
- Provide technical expertise during product demonstrations, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and product failure documentation.
- Follow up on warranty claim submissions and related documentation.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Life Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of field service, application support, or instrumentation experience involving laboratory or analytical instruments.
- Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical equipment.
- Strong presentation and customer service skills.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience servicing Gas Chromatography instruments is an added advantage.
