Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate site teams, including supervisors, technicians, contractors, and vendors, to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule.
- Oversee daily site operations and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical installation works in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, and resources to support timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work procedures to facilitate smooth project implementation.
- Coordinate and support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for electrical systems, including LV/HV distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
- Ensure all installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with statutory requirements, project specifications, and client standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety reviews to promote compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, work quality, and project progress to achieve key project milestones.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation for internal and client reporting.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support team members to promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, M&E, construction, industrial facilities, power distribution, data centre, or related project environments.
- Experience managing site activities, contractors, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders within a project-based environment.
- Good technical knowledge of LV/HV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, power distribution systems, and electrical testing & commissioning.
- Familiarity with electrical installation, troubleshooting, and project execution processes.
- Understanding of local electrical regulations, safety standards, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
- Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and resource management skills.
- Experience in managing quality, safety, cost, and project performance is an added advantage.
