Responsibilities
- Develop annual demand plans and sales targets for budgeting and quarterly planning cycles.
- Prepare and maintain weekly shipment forecasts, ensuring alignment between sales plans and shipment execution.
- Monitor sales and shipment performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate with commercial, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate business information sharing.
- Support inventory management by addressing excess stock, slow-moving inventory, and critical stock situations.
- Identify portfolio opportunities that create value through production surpluses and demand gap analysis.
- Conduct business analyses, simulations, and scenario planning to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new product launches and planning activities.
- Maintain visibility of finished goods availability and inventory levels to support customer demand fulfillment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
- Experience in planning functions such as Production Planning, S&OP, Logistics, Customer Service, Demand Planning, or Sales Planning.
- Experience in food products import and export planning; poultry industry experience is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in English language for liaising with English-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
