Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists in setting up, supervising, and supporting patients during therapeutic activities and exercise programmes.
- Prepare treatment areas, therapy gyms, clinics, and equipment for patient use.
- Support the setup and monitoring of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment.
- Assist therapists in conducting group therapy sessions under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.
- Coordinate patient transportation to and from therapy sessions and provide portering support when required.
- Support the coordination and oversight of healthcare attendant duties and portering assignments within the rehabilitation department.
- Perform inventory checks and manage supplies, equipment, forms, and inventory records.
- Provide administrative support, including photocopying, filing, document preparation, and distribution.
- Perform basic data entry and retrieval using designated computer systems.
- Assist in the maintenance of therapeutic equipment and devices.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of new therapy assistants.
- Handle enquiries, answer telephone calls, and relay messages appropriately.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification or equivalent.
- Service-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- This is a 1-year contract position. Contract renewal is subject to performance and organizational requirements.
