Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control and support on-time delivery performance across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with production, sales, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient order fulfilment and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support a reliable supply chain network.
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ISO requirements.
- Implement and maintain departmental buddy systems, cross-training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Analyse operational data, prepare performance reports, and recommend process improvements.
- Plan and manage daily operations and workforce deployment within the supply chain function.
- Oversee workflow optimisation and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, 5S standards, SOPs, and safe work procedures.
- Promote good housekeeping practices and operational excellence across the department.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, including environmental, safety, and trade compliance requirements.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in logistics operations, procurement, inventory management, and transportation processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management systems, logistics software, and related technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Hazardous Substance Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is an added advantage.
