Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with new product development (NPD) objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external manufacturers and strategic partners to ensure timely prototyping, production readiness, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to enhance supply chain resilience and project continuity.
  • Partner with design and engineering teams to drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and resolve manufacturing challenges during product development.
  • Lead supply chain activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including planning, execution, risk assessment, and transition to production.
  • Oversee resolution of supply chain and manufacturing issues at external manufacturing facilities and support change request reviews.
  • Work with category managers to secure cost-effective supplier agreements and ensure delivery performance.
  • Ensure suppliers meet quality expectations for incoming, in-process, and outgoing product requirements.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing project updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Drive change management initiatives and governance processes across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement project management best practices across the global supply chain organisation and coordinate resource planning.
  • Conduct project reviews, monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • More than 8 years of experience in commercial/business and manufacturing functions, including Industry 4.0, operations, quality, technology, or planning.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a PMO, NPD, or R&D environment applying Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • More than 5 years of experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technical medium to large-scale projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia, East Asia, and other locations as required.
