We are currently supporting a global MNC with the search for an Operational Supply Planning Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This role will be responsible for driving supply planning activities across the Asia region, working closely with regional stakeholders, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional teams to optimize production planning, inventory management, and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Planning Head Asia, you will support regional supply planning initiatives and drive operational excellence across the network.
Your responsibilities include:
- Translate mid-term production plans into short-term operational supply plans
- Develop and optimize production scheduling plans considering capacity, utilization, and timing
- Manage stock transfers and inventory levels across the supply network
- Monitor production performance, product availability, and schedule adherence
- Identify market requirements and support allocation decisions based on business priorities
- Analyze inventory policies, slow-moving stock, and obsolete inventory
- Maintain manufacturing parameters and planning constraints
- Participate in S&OE processes, highlighting material availability issues and capacity constraints
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Material Planning, and regional stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply planning performance
【MUST】
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Planning / Production Planning / Scheduling
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
- Experience with S&OP / IBP processes
- Experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analytics / BI tools
- Hands-on experience with planning systems such as:
- SAP
- APO
- Kinaxis
- OMP
- o9
(or similar supply planning systems)
【MUST】
- Japanese language proficiency required to collaborate with Japanese-speaking counterparts and HQ stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills to communicate effectively with English-speaking counterparts and stakeholders
- Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Willingness to travel frequently during the first 3-6 months for training.
- Experience working in a regional supply chain environment
- Experience in multinational manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmen
