Responsibilities:
- Drive APAC sales growth of chromatography consumables (HPLC/GC columns, sample preparation products, analytical kits).
- Identify replacement, competitor conversion, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities through customer workflow reviews.
- Partner with sales teams to deliver integrated solutions and grow recurring consumables revenue.
- Provide technical consultation, product recommendations, and pre-sales support.
- Manage product evaluations, sampling programs, demonstrations, and conversion to commercial sales.
- Troubleshoot chromatography issues and optimize analytical methods and performance.
- Develop technical sales materials, application notes, and webinar content.
- Conduct customer training, workshops, seminars, webinars, and technical presentations.
- Train distributors and sales teams on products, applications, and new product launches.
- Investigate product complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and support quality assessments.
- Support regional business initiatives and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Advantage: Experience in commercial sales, technical sales, applications support, pre-sales activities or lab experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing chromatography systems, including HPLC, UHPLC, GC, chromatography columns, and sample preparation workflows.
- Strong technical knowledge of chromatography principles, separation science, and laboratory analytical workflows.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to 40% across APAC.
