Responsibilities:
- Maintain & update supplier, contact and person-in-charge list.
- Maintain & update stock list including stock cost and selling price.
- Update SOP on purchasing / ordering / internal delivery
- Liaise and assist outlet Managers to order products, kitchen wares, plastic bag etc.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, stock, quality, terms and conditions.
- To do market research and propose new/valuable products and suppliers.
- Source for alternative products when products are not available.
- Liaise with supplier on issues with products, shipping and delivery.
- Liaise and assist chefs on ordering salmon and sake.
- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Document daily delivery and shipments to update inventory.
- Prepare documents for stock take and ensure stock take procedure in placed Stock take checking.
- Prepare analysis reports on inventory operations / Stock levels / adjustment
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock take procedures, and stock reconciliation
- Experience maintaining stock lists, cost pricing, and selling prices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (stock tracking, analysis, reporting)
- Strong supplier sourcing and negotiation skills (pricing, quality, delivery terms, payment terms)
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and alternative sourcing when products are unavailable
- Ability to liaise with outlet managers, chefs, and suppliers effectively
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing inventory and stock level reports
- Experience in F&B, restaurant chains, retail, or central kitchen operations is advantageous.
