Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive business cases and Applications for Approval (AFA), including business plans and cost-benefit analyses for project funding.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, funding requirements, and expected business outcomes.
- Present and clarify AFA submissions to governance committees and approval forums, ensuring compliance with local and global standards.
- Manage end-to-end change governance processes for system enhancements and implementations.
- Ensure all system changes receive the necessary approvals, sign-offs, and governance clearance before deployment.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to facilitate effective project governance and change management.
- Act as the primary liaison with Head Office to align local project portfolios with corporate strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
- Monitor governance adherence and support project teams in meeting organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a PMO, Project Manager, or Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and change management frameworks.
- Proficiency in project and governance tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Experience preparing business cases, funding proposals, or Applications for Approval (AFA).
- Proven experience managing project governance, change governance, and approval processes.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
- PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
- Scrum Master certification is an added advantage.
