Responsibilities
- Coordinate site activities and resolve technical issues with clients and stakeholders
- Apply engineering design knowledge and ensure compliance with building services codes of practice
- Ensure quality of materials and installations meet ISO standards and project specifications
- Monitor and control suppliers’ materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance
- Prepare and coordinate shop drawings and technical documentation
- Develop work schedules and participate in client and internal project meetings
- Support project manager in daily operations, including planning, quality, and safety management
- Liaise with main contractors to ensure proper coordination and prevent rework
- Manage site materials and equipment to minimize wastage
- Communicate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delivery delays
- Identify and rectify non-conformance in products or installations to avoid defects
- Track site progress and provide clear updates to stakeholders
- Explore and implement new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a contractor or construction environment
- Experience in district cooling or chiller systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
- Certified ISO Internal Quality Auditor
- Completion of Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course
