Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care in accordance with nursing standards and infection control practices
- Assist in patient assessment, monitoring, treatment, and continuity of care under supervision of a Staff Nurse
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated patient care
- Assist with medication administration (oral, IM, SC), IV fluid changes, wound care, and related nursing procedures under supervision
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records
- Support palliative nursing care delivery under supervision, where applicable
- Ensure proper use, storage, and control of drugs, medical equipment, and supplies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and confidential patient care environment
- Provide guidance and share patient care knowledge with Patient Care Assistants
- Uphold professional standards, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement in nursing practice
- At least a NITEC in Nursing or equivalent qualification, with valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and healthcare documentation
- Strong service‑oriented and patient‑focused mindset
- Meticulous, accurate, and well‑organised work approach
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a healthcare environment
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Post‑registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting is an added advantage
