Job Summary:
Support radiation oncology services through clinical care, outpatient operations, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Consultants and Consultants in the day-to-day operations of radiation oncology outpatient clinics
- Provide office-hour clinical coverage in accordance with departmental roster schedules
- Deliver patient care with sound diagnostic and clinical management capabilities
- Assist in radiotherapy planning and participate in clinical audits with relevant training provided
- Contribute to research initiatives and support the education and development of junior staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and coordinated patient care
Requirements:
- Basic medical degree from an accredited medical university recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Medical Council
- Postgraduate qualifications in clinical oncology (e.g. FRCR), radiation oncology (e.g. FRANZCR), or equivalent is an added advantage
- Strong clinical judgement, diagnostic skills, and patient management capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Willingness to participate in research, teaching, and continuous professional development
