- Assessment and diagnosis: Perform hearing and balance tests, interpret results, and diagnose disorders.
- Treatment planning: Develop personalized treatment plans, which may include recommending hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other assistive listening devices.
- Rehabilitation: Fit and adjust hearing aids, provide guidance on their use, and counsel patients and their families on communication strategies and managing hearing loss.
- Preventative care: Implement and manage hearing conservation and loss prevention programs and conduct screenings.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with other healthcare professionals like doctors, speech-language pathologists, and educators.
Job Requirements:
- Master of Science in Audiology – Graduate-Entry Level Masters (GEMS) Programme OR Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology from overseas universities
- Preferably 3 to 4 years of Audiologist experience.
