Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and year-end financial closing activities for the Singapore holding company.
- Oversee finance operations across overseas entities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Consolidate quarterly group financial results and support management reporting requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and enhance forecasting and budgeting processes to support strategic financial planning.
- Lead finance digitalisation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and process automation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders on finance and compliance matters.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local and overseas accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and analyse group cash flow statements to support liquidity management and financial decision-making.
- Support ad-hoc finance projects and business initiatives as required.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting and finance experience within the construction industry.
- Experience in financial closing, group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience in implementing internal controls and finance process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
