Job Summary:
Seeking a digitally savvy, Japanese-speaking logistics professional to develop customized international express solutions for e-commerce and corporate clients. This role drives business growth by managing end-to-end logistics projects, optimizing shipping operations through technology and AI, and building long-term recurring business opportunities while ensuring exceptional service standards across cross-border logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Propose tailored international express and logistics solutions for e-commerce businesses and corporate clients.
- Manage end-to-end project implementation, from initial consultation through operational execution.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve logistics and shipping challenges to maintain service quality.
- Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders to align shipping standards, regulatory requirements, and operational processes.
- Utilise digital tools, AI solutions, and API integrations to improve shipping workflows and operational efficiency.
- Drive recurring business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth through sustainable shipment programmes.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N2 or above) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in PC applications, data handling, data analysis, and Power Query.
- Experience using digital tools, AI solutions, and technology platforms to enhance productivity.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce logistics is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of API integration is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of import/export operations is an added advantage.
