Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance targets
- Manage team performance and drive results through clear goals and accountability
- Partner with recruitment stakeholders to support hiring activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide functional guidance to the team
- Handle escalations and ensure timely and effective resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and organisational guidelines
- Support project initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts
- Design and deliver moderate-complexity learning solutions aligned to business objectives and adult learning principles
- Collaborate with leadership to implement and localise operational policies
- Minimum 1 year of people management experience and 1 year in training and development
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (in-person or contact centre environment)
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
- Strong end-to-end project management and process improvement skills
- Experience in training facilitation and learning delivery
- Basic project management capabilities
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Background in crisis management, law enforcement, social work, or investigative roles is an added advantage
- Experience in law enforcement, criminal investigations, or demonstrated investigative skills is an added advantage
