Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify workforce needs and define hiring requirements.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions aligned with organisational branding and hiring objectives.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction programmes, and offboarding processes.
- Oversee employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and labour authority communications.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and recommend policy enhancements when required.
- Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, evaluations, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Manage annual compensation reviews through market benchmarking and salary recommendations.
- Administer employee benefits and statutory obligations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement learning and development programmes to support employee growth and business objectives.
- Oversee payroll coordination with external vendors and ensure accurate HR data management.
- Manage HR budgets, manpower planning, and periodic workforce reporting.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes, CSR activities, and sustainability efforts.
- Supervise office administration activities, including facilities, vendors, procurement, travel coordination, and asset management.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of HR generalist experience covering the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience in a multinational corporation or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, payroll administration, and HR operations.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP, Workday, or equivalent systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in English language for business communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in compensation and benefits administration, performance management, talent development, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with the automotive or industrial sector is an added advantage.
