Responsibilities
- Manage financial and management accounting activities, including monthly closing, reporting and analysis.
- Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, audit schedules and financial submissions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to management.
- Perform costing, profitability reviews and financial evaluations to support business decisions.
- Partner with business units and departments to provide financial advice, analysis and decision support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, corporate policies and internal controls.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls, reporting efficiency and system utilisation.
- Participate in finance system enhancement, automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare financial analyses, reports and presentations for management and key stakeholders.
- Guide and develop team members while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification recognised by ISCA.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Supervisory experience required for Manager-level and above appointments.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
- Experience in financial analysis, costing, profitability analysis and management reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to engage stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.
- Experience in a Big 4 audit firm is an added advantage.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
- SAP experience is an added advantage.
- Financial modelling experience is an added advantage.
