Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Epitaxy (EPI) process engineering team to achieve production, quality, and yield targets.
- Develop, optimize, and sustain epitaxial growth processes for semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, productivity, equipment utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process-related issues.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), technology transfers, and process qualifications.
- Monitor and improve key process metrics including SPC, Cp/Cpk, defect density, uniformity, and process capability.
- Collaborate closely with Equipment, Integration, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Lead engineering projects focused on automation, process innovation, and manufacturing excellence.
- Minimum 5 years of semiconductor process engineering experience, including leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Epitaxy (EPI) processes within semiconductor wafer fabrication.
- Solid knowledge of epitaxial growth technologies such as CVD, RPCVD, Si EPI, or related EPI processes.
- Experience in process optimization, yield improvement, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and statistical data analysis.
- Proven experience supporting high-volume manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI).
