Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate food formulations, applications, and ingredient solutions.
- Conduct sensory, physicochemical, and functional analyses.
- Troubleshoot product issues and provide technical support, including customer site trials.
- Create innovative formulations aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, seminars, exhibitions, and technical presentations.
- Support customer innovation and new product development projects.
- Maintain accurate project, trial, and technical documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of laboratory equipment.
- Minimum 5 years’ R&D or application development experience in bakery, processed foods, beverages, ice cream, confectionery, food ingredients, or related industries.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, and product development.
- Hands-on experience in application trials and laboratory work.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills.
- Good sensory evaluation skills with knowledge of taste and flavour profiles.
