- Review, maintain, and update internal control policies, Standard Approval Authority (SAA), workflows, and governance manuals across the International Business Unit (IBU).
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, corporate governance standards, and headquarters directives across regional offices.
- Plan, lead, and conduct internal audits of branch offices, site offices, and regional operations in accordance with established internal control frameworks and local regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Singapore, Japan, and other overseas offices on internal control, governance, and compliance-related matters.
- Deliver training and awareness programmes on internal control systems, policies, procedures, and workflows, and monitor learning effectiveness.
- Support audit activities conducted by headquarters and coordinate responses to audit findings and recommendations.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and other corporate functions to enhance internal control frameworks, policies, and operational procedures.
- Prepare periodic reports, compliance updates, and governance-related documentation for headquarters management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management and internal control processes across regional operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in internal control, audit, compliance, governance, or risk management.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N2/N1 preferred) for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and headquarters.
- Experience within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or any project-based industry.
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, and compliance practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
- Business knowledge of the construction industry and exposure to international operations.
- Translation and interpretation experience in a business environment.
- Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
- Exposure to data visualization software and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and problem-solving capabilities.
