Job Summary
The Senior / Fuel Operations Specialist carries out routine fuel farm operations and maintenance in line with SOPs and safety regulations. They prepare daily logs, oversee troubleshooting activities performed by contractors, and report any equipment abnormalities to the maintenance teams. During emergencies, they act as an Emergency Response Team member, following established emergency response plans.
Working primarily outdoors, the Senior / Fuel Operations Specialist is proficient in operating a range of aviation support equipment and vehicles across both military and commercial aviation ground support operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct fuel farm operations
- Perform fuel quality checks before commencement of operations
- Perform circulation and draw fuel samples for scheduled testing
- Perform loading and unloading of fuel
- Record fuel transactions
- Perform daily top up of refueller
- Perform aircraft defuelling and refuelling
- Operate fuel bridger and aviation specialised vehicles (ASV)
- Perform daily inspection and functional checks on GFE/GFP
- Monitor Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property for scheduled preventive maintenance
- Perform maintenance on in-house equipment, facilities and vehicles in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI)
- Perform housekeeping within the work premises
- Perform stocktake of all Government Furnished Equipments (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFPs) and in-house equipment
- Perform operations based on quality, environmental, occupational, health, security and safety standards
- Attend daily briefings including safety/operational briefings and toolbox meeting
- Prepare quality and safety reports and raise any QHSSE lapses at work site or during operations
- Participate in audits as required
- Comply with regulatory requirements of operations site
- Participate in Emergency and Oil Spill Exercise
- Comply with data governance policies
- Perform the day-to-day operations of shift according to customer and contractual requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- Participate in digitisation roadmaps of business unit
- Participate in on-the-job and required regulated training for qualification maintenance
- Monitor and submit documentation for security clearance
- Perform OT/Call Out assignment
Job Requirements
- At minimum NITEC holder
- Class 4 and above
- Class 5 Driving License and/or Forklift License is an added advantage
- Prior experience with RSAF preferred
- Ability to use Apps and have cybersecurity awareness
