Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor PLC and control systems to ensure optimal performance and high equipment uptime.
- Diagnose system abnormalities, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate automation, upgrading, and system improvement projects from planning through implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with required standards.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC systems.
- Experience with ELV systems, such as fire alarm and public address systems.
- Ability to work with and troubleshoot field instruments and control devices.
- Knowledge of electrical systems will be an added advantage.
