- Prepare dental chairs, equipment, and instruments for clinical procedures.
- Provide chairside support to dental students during treatment procedures.
- Assist with basic dental charting and clinic preparation activities.
- Clean, disinfect, and wipe down dental chairs and treatment areas after use.
- Clean, sort, and prepare dental instruments for reprocessing and sterilization.
- Ensure proper handling, return, and tracking of dental instruments.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
- Comply with workplace safety regulations and guidelines.
- Guide students on infection control requirements and safe work practices.
- Monitor and encourage good housekeeping standards within clinical areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness of the nurse station and work areas.
- Support student orientation programmes related to infection control practices.
- Conduct competency training on Bunsen burner usage, sharps handling, and dental chair cleaning procedures.
- Minimum NITEC qualification.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a dental, healthcare, or clinical environment.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, chairside assistance, and infection control practices.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to guide and support students in clinical operations and infection control compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and housekeeping skills.
