- Engage customers to understand business, security, and technical requirements.
- Design cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer environments and security objectives.
- Conduct solution presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Prepare solution architectures, bill of materials (BOM), sizing, and technical proposals.
- Support RFI, RFQ, and RFP submissions.
- Recommend deployment, integration, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and successful solution adoption.
- Partner with account managers to drive technical discussions and solution positioning.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical assessments, and solution qualification activities.
- Present cybersecurity strategies and technology roadmaps to customers.
- Work closely with cybersecurity vendors and technology partners.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends.
- Participate in technical certifications, enablement programs, and product training.
- Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cybersecurity presales, solution consulting, system engineering, SOC operations, security implementation, infrastructure engineering, or related fields.
- Experience conducting customer presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and POCs.
- Exposure to enterprise IT and cybersecurity environments.
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR, Endpoint Protection Platforms, Endpoint Management & Compliance)
- Network & Email Security (Next-Generation Firewalls, Secure Email Gateways, NDR)
- SIEM & Security Operations (Security Monitoring, Log Management, Threat Detection, Incident Response)
- Data Security (DLP, Data Protection, Information Governance)
- SASE & Cloud Security (SSE, SASE, Microsoft Entra ID, Zero Trust)
- Vulnerability & Exposure Management
- Network Infrastructure, Monitoring, and Observability
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of security compliance and governance frameworks.
- Red teaming, threat hunting, or security validation concepts are an added advantage.
- Experience with technologies such as Tanium, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Trellix, Corelight, ExtraHop, Darktrace, Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, LogRhythm, Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Arista, or Cisco is an added advantage.
