Seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive channel development, optimize route-to-market strategies, and expand market coverage for sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement route-to-market strategies to enhance market coverage and commercial reach.
- Evaluate channel performance and identify opportunities to improve market access and effectiveness.
- Assess new channel opportunities, customer segments, and market expansion initiatives.
- Support territory planning and commercial network optimization.
- Strengthen and expand distributor, dealer, and workshop networks.
- Develop initiatives to improve channel capabilities, partner engagement, and commercial effectiveness.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of retail and workshop development programs.
- Lead strategic channel development projects from planning through execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Ensure commercial programs are effectively deployed across the partner network.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer requirements.
- Conduct market analysis and provide data-driven recommendations for business growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and strategic partners.
- Facilitate business reviews, collaborative planning sessions, and partner engagement activities.
- Support partner capability development through training, workshops, and development programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales, Channel Development, Business Development, Trade Marketing, Route-to-Market, or related commercial functions.
- Proven experience managing distributor, dealer, or channel partner networks.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategies into effective execution plans.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket, lubricants, industrial products, or FMCG industries is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated capability in route-to-market strategy, channel development, distributor and partner management, commercial planning, market development, territory optimization, business development, project leadership, commercial analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
