Responsibilities:
- Perform trading activities for ferrous raw materials, including sales and marketing functions.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with clients, overseas offices, and headquarters on daily operational matters.
- Handle order processing, shipment coordination, and logistics arrangements to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor and manage customer credit lines and inventory risks effectively.
- Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable and payable.
- Host and manage visits from overseas clients to ensure positive engagement and relationship building.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales; experience in trading or non-ferrous sectors is an added advantage.
- Strong interest in trading and willingness to learn commodity and metals trading.
- Understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including shipping processes and trade payment methods.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes on a regular basis.
- Proficiency in Mandarin language to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in commodity trading, particularly in metals, is an added advantage.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
