Job Summary
This role is an aviation ground operations position that coordinates passenger, cargo, and aircraft support activities at airbases. The specialist ensures aircraft arrivals and departures are supported safely through cargo handling, passenger boarding support, documentation, and ground equipment operation.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct AMC operations (Passenger)
- Perform day-to-day passenger service operations
- Operate passenger ladder for passengers to board and alight from the aircraft
- Prepare passenger details and customer documents for arrivals and departures at RSAF air bases and overseas airfield/airport
- Process customer’s flight details and ticketing with airlines and regulatory authorities
- Provide escort in and out of the airbase
- Execute plans for handling and
- storage of shipments
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load/or unload cargo on/off the aircraft
- Handle Dangerous Goods in accordance with International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulation (IATA DGR) and other relevant regulatory authorities
- Perform aircraft and warehouse’s cargo consolidation activities
- Prepare documentation of cargo details (i.e. Airway Bill) required by international airport authority
- Perform overseas deployment activities, as directed
- Perform fixed based operation support for foreign military aircraft
- Perform daily inspection and functional checks on GFE/GFP
- Monitor Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property for scheduled preventive maintenance
- Perform maintenance on in-house equipment, facilities and vehicles in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI)
- Perform housekeeping operations within the work premises
- Perform stocktake of all Government Furnished Equipments (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFPs) and in-house equipment.
- Perform operations based on quality, environmental, occupational, health, security and safety standards
- Attend daily briefings including safety/operational briefings and toolbox meeting
- Prepare quality and safety reports and raise any QHSSE lapses at work site or during operations
- Participate in audits as required
- Comply with regulatory requirements of operations site
- Participate in Emergency Exercise
- Comply with data governance policies
- Perform the day-to-day operations of shift according to customer and contractual requirements
- At minimum NITEC
- Class 3 Driving License and/or Forklift License
- Prior experience with RSAF preferred
- Ability to use Apps and have cybersecurity awareness
- Open for frequent overseas trips
