Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Perform quarterly consolidation of group accounts and address shareholder queries when required.
- Coordinate audit schedules, manage the audit process, and ensure timely submission of statutory filings to ACRA, including annual returns and financial statements.
- Prepare and submit corporate income tax filings to IRAS, including responding to tax queries and audits.
- Manage GST compliance, including registration, quarterly filings, and reconciliations.
- Provide guidance on tax planning strategies, exemptions, and available government incentives.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial projections.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance and analyze variances.
- Conduct financial and cost-benefit analyses for key projects and investments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in full-set accounting and finance functions.
- Meticulous, well-organized, and able to manage tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Navision or Microsoft Business Central will be an added advantage.
