Responsibilities:
The Treasury Group (TG) at our Singapore branch is responsible for managing the branch’s investment portfolio, overseeing Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and ensuring effective liquidity management to support the branch’s core business operations. The Senior Officer/Officer will play a key role in supporting ALM, liquidity management, and operational tasks, including investment portfolio management for the group

• Oversee and monitor the branch’s liquidity position to ensure smooth cash flow operations by executing various money market transactions.
• Provide loan and deposit rate quotes to both internal and external counterparties to meet business needs while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
• Conduct monitoring and analysis of financial markets to ensure the branch adheres to MAS liquidity regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with money market counterparties. Participate in business trips as needed to strengthen connections and expand the branch’s network.
• Perform KYC due diligence on counterparties to ensure compliance and reduce risk exposure.
• Accurately enter transactions (e.g., money market and investment products) into internal systems and provide support to the investment team.
• Compile various reports, including position, market, and financial reports, to provide key insights to senior management.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Treasury Group’s objectives.

Requirements:

• Min 2 years of relevant experience in the banking/financial institution sector, specifically in ALM/Liquidity management
• Knowledge of financial markets, particularly in money market products (e.g., Interbank cash trades, Repo and FX)
• Independent and a team player with good interpersonal skill are required to engage diverse team of stakeholders across different group in the branch, and unit or division in Head Office
• FMRP certification
