Sales Manager
Overview
The opportunity is with a pioneer in steel distribution innovation. As part of their expansion plans, they’re looking to hire a Sales Executive/Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales of flat steel products and work on expanding the business internationally.
- Build strong relationships with existing mills and customers, and identify new potential clients for business growth.
- Proactively manage relationships to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
- Implement business strategies set by management to boost steel product sales.
- Track market trends and competitive information to uncover new sales opportunities and drive steel sales growth.
- Prepare reports and presentations for business analysis and decision-making.
- Research, analyze, and provide recommendations on market opportunities to maximize earnings and meet sales targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in steel merchandising and trading.
- In-depth knowledge of steel products, including hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil, and galvanized steel (GI).
- At least 3 years of experience working in a multinational company.
- Established network of industry contacts and customers with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing and able to travel as required for business purposes.
