Sales Executive – Japanese Speaking

Responsibilities :

  • Generate and oversee purchase orders, delivery notes, and shipping documentation to ensure seamless and precise transactions.
  • Handle customer and distributor inquiries through phone and email, delivering swift and professional responses.
  • Nurture and enhance relationships with current clients while proactively seeking new business prospects.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients and participate in sales activities, including presenting product proposals.
  • Establish and meet sales objectives by formulating and implementing effective strategies.
  • Oversee client orders and inquiries, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
  • Perform market research to evaluate the competitive environment and comprehend customer requirements.
  • Consistently update the Branch Manager on sales progress.
  • Organize and lead meetings and negotiations with clients.
  • Present weekly outcomes at management meetings (conducted in Japanese).
  • This role may necessitate business travel as required (within the ASEAN region).
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned. 

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a coordination or logistics role, particularly focusing on import and export within the retail sector.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 level and above) to liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts.
  • Willingness to undertake business trips within Asia.
