Responsibilities:

• Assist in the routine care of patients and address their comfort needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patients’ physical assessments, including height, weight, visual acuity, audiometry, and nursing observations.
• Follow strict infection control and aseptic techniques when providing patient care.
• Conduct regular inventory checks on medical equipment, surgical supplies, and instruments.
• Demonstrate professional behavior to ensure high-quality service.
• Gather and organize laboratory, X-ray, and specialist reports.
• Follow up on doctor’s instructions regarding lab, X-ray, and other results for review.
• Ensure timely availability of results and promptly inform the doctor of any urgent or concerning findings.
• Dispense medications as per doctor’s instructions.
• Handle clinic emails, phone calls, and patient inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Register new patients and send appointment reminders.
• Manage insurance claims and coverage for consultations, treatments, medications, surgeries, or hospital admissions.
• Coordinate with Japanese Insurance Companies for Letters of Guarantee (LOG).
• Communicate with specialist clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and radiology centers regarding billing.
• Follow up on outstanding payments from corporate clients, insurance companies, and self-paying patients.

Requirements:

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinic or general hospital setting.
• Ability to set up and perform IV cannulation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and as a team player.
