Responsibilities :
- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve business goals and sales targets
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and expand market presence
- Sales Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, performance metrics, and progress toward targets
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage the sales budget, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Team Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the performance and skills of the sales team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and support business objectives
- Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements :
- Min 5 years of Proven experience in international logistics, shipping, and sales management
- Business level proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking customer/counterparts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
- Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing team members
- Ability to create and implement successful sales strategies
- Familiarity with managing sales budgets and financial performance
