Corporate Development Associate ( Up to $5k Basic)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop a funnel of potential New Business, M&A opportunities based on strategic priorities in Southeast Asia & India
• Perform industry and company research and analysis
• Perform feasibility study for target buy out deal or investment case (Valuation, Peer group analysis, etc)
• Develop and maintain financial models on potential M&A targets
• Regular surveys, and analyzing technologies/companies
• Review of start-up equity investment
• Support cross-functional deal teams in due diligence, financial analysis, and negotiation with acquisition targets:
• Assist with other strategic initiatives of the Company
• Prepare transaction review and/or approval materials for Senior Management and the Partnership Board
• Monitor progress of acquisitions post-integration to ensure ongoing success and report metrics and recommended actions to management:
• Perform corporate strategic development processing and ad hoc task under MD’s direct management
• (Including company’s strategic event e, g, annual Regional Strategic Conference, etc)
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements :
[Must]

• Min 2-3 years of Business Development or relevant experience required (2-3 years) OR Min 2-3 years Valuation/Financial Analysis experience required (corporate business development, financial analysis, M&A, investment banking, or private equity)
• Fluency in Korean to effectively liaise with Korean-speaking internal teams, headquarters, and other branch offices
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Solid understanding of valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and M&A processes
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (ability to read balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements of companies)
• Willingness to travel internationally, if required

• Experience with or interest in the Southeast Asian and Indian markets is highly preferred
• Proficiency in handling start-up equity investments and understanding emerging technologies is a plus
