Air Procurement Manager (Individual Contributor)

Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and assess the performance of Airfreight Carriers to ensure optimal service quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with Airlines and Logistics Service Providers to negotiate favorable rates and maintain high service standards.
• Lead the carrier engagement and procurement process, including conducting RFQ bidding with Carriers, to secure competitive pricing and space for enhanced cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Innovation and Operations, to develop cost-effective Air product solutions tailored to potential clients, optimizing procurement processes in alignment with business objectives.
• Implement air procurement strategies aimed at maximizing revenue through continuous enhancement of Air product offerings.
• Oversee contract administration, including rate negotiations, service commitments, and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with agreements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key airline/Logistics Service Providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in the Air Logistics market, providing strategic insights and recommendations to management to optimize airfreight sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of related working experience in Global Logistics Company or Airline/ Air Freight industry
• Well versed in international air cargo regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards.
• Established good connection with Airlines/ Carriers and/or other co-loader
• Degree/Diploma in business or equivalent
