In the time of economic downturn as present, finding a job is not easy, particularly for fresh grads who have to compete with those experienced professionals. However, according to Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) President, Stephen Lee, a survey of 100 companies carried out last week showed that about half of them were still hiring.
There are job opportunities, but Mr Lee advised new graduates not to expect a high starting pay. It is advisable for these freshies to consider job offers even if the wages might be slightly different than expected.
